The editor

Each team of journalists needs someone that can make the final decisions, namely the editor. The editor is also considered a journalist, but the editor has some extra responsibilities to take care of.

Responsibilities:

• Buy the name when starting a new magazine
• Invite journalists to join the team
• Make sure that the magazine issue does not break any goSupermodel rules
• Make sure that the team is not using copyrighted materials
• Set the price of the magazine issue
• Write the description of the magazine issue
• Publish the magazine issue when it is finished and pay the publish fee

The editor is able to remove a journalist from the team if the journalist is misbehaving or not doing their share of the work. The editor is also the one that starts new issues.

Tip: Naming a magazine
You should never call your magazine exactly the same as a real life magazine since the name is most likely copyrighted!
