We’re already nearly at the end of March! Is this year flying by or is it just us? The birds are chirping, the sun is showing its face for longer, we’re feeling the spring vibes here with the gorgeous new backgrounds and homepage. Even the pinball lady is feeling it! • We paid attention to World Down Syndrome Day, with a lot of mismatching socks! Read more here.

• On Thursday it was International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, read more about that here.

• Friday was Daffodil Day in Ireland, but the awareness for cancer is relevant for all over the world and in every country. Read more about the day here.

• The Junior Designer competition participants moving to the next round were announced yesterday. Keep an eye on the competition topic and the news for more information regarding the submission bug for those affected. A newspost is coming about that very soon.

• We had a thrift shop themed shop drop by the amazing theAmanda, Saoirse, lisu, Nightwing and Mikah.

• The Fairy Companion competition came to an end. We expect to announce the winners towards the end of the week. 

• The Good Deeds competition has ended and winners will be announced before the end of the week. But no worries, a new Ramadan-themed competition is launching this week. 

• We have a new homepage since last week together with amazing new spring backgrounds by beccks and a new pinball machine design by Oase. More to come!

Holi

Subh Holi! to those who celebrate today! Holi is a Hindu festival known as the festival of colours that celebrates spring, love and new life. On this day, celebrants light bonfires, throw colorful powder called gulal, eat sweets and dance to traditional folk music. An important part of Holi is forgiving anyone who has upset you and giving them another chance.
