In order to use all features of the goSupermodel website, you need Java. It's something you can install on your computer for free. For the best experience you should always use the newest version of Java.

How to install or update Java

Windows users

1. Go to Java.com and click the Free Java Download button.
2. Click Run and then Install to start the installation process.
3. When your installation is complete, you should be able to use all parts of goSupermodel.

Mac users

1. Your Mac needs to have OS/X 10.6 Snow Leopard or later - if you don't know what this means, ask your parents.
2. Download the newest version of Java. Use the Mac OS X Software Update.
3. For Mac users, Java works best with the Safari browser. Make sure you have the newest version of it!

Solving problems

General
Always make sure that your browser is up-to-date! We can't update it for you, you need to do it yourself :)

Windows users

1. Try to clear Java cache with these instructions
2. Remove old Java versions with these instructions
3. If you still have problems, try the Java help center (in English)

Mac users

I tried everything, it still doesn't work!

If none of the above removes your problem, contact the goSupermodel team. We need you to send us a code so we can easily look into the problem.

This is how you get the code:

1. Try to open the feature (game, Designer or Décor) that causes the error.
2. Java will now activate. Find the Java icon (a blue cup with red smoke). It is usually in the lower right corner of your screen.
3. Right-click the icon and select Open console.
4. Click the button that says Copy.
5. Close the Java pop up.
6. Click the Back button on your browser until you return to this page.
7. Select the Contact goSupermodel team option.
8. Paste (ctrl + v) the text into your message.
