If your Java doesn't start, you should try to clear the Java cache.

Windows users

Follow these instructions to clear the cache.

1. Click your Start menu and choose Control Panel.
2. Click System and Security. From the left menu, choose Programmes.
3. Double-click the Java icon.
   The Java Control Panel appears.
   
   
   
   
4. Click Settings under Temporary Internet Files. A dialog box appears.
   
   
   
   
5. Click Delete Files.
   The Delete Temporary Files dialog box appears.
   
   
   
   
6. Click OK on Delete Temporary Files window.
7. Click OK on Temporary Files Settings window.
8. Your cache is now cleared!

Mac users

Follow these instructions to clear the cache.

1. Open Applications > Utilities > Java Preferences.
   The Java Control Panel appears.
   
   
   
   
2. Click the Network tab.
   
   
   
   
3. Click Delete Files.
   The Delete Temporary Files dialog box appears.
   
   
   
   
4. Click OK on Delete Temporary Files window.
5. Your cache is now cleared!
