1. Changing username: When you join the link to the game, you then click settings (the wheel icon top right) and then you click "Change Name + Color". Not only are you able to change your name, but you are also able to change the colour name (the colour is shown when you type in chat).
2. Preview: By clicking "Preview" (top left) you are able to see the image of t
he puzzle you are going to make in that current game. A tip is to click "View in Catalog" (aft
er you have clicked preview). That way you have the picture open in a new tab that you can easily switch to whenever you feel like it.
3. Changing background: You are able to change the colour of the background. This is very useful when you have really dark puzzle pieces or really light puzzle pieces. To change the colour of the background you once again have to click settings and then "Customize Background". This is individual - that means that you are only changing the colour for yourself, not for everyone else. You can change the colour of the background as many times as you want and as often you feel like doing so.
4. Toggle Timer: Toggle Timer is your own personal timer. It shows how long you have been playing that current puzzle game. This does not affect the other players, nor is it showing the time for how long the other players have been doing that current puzzle. There are two ways of showing your toggle timer; One way is by clicking Spacebar on your keyboard - that way you also pause the timer. To resume the game you just have to click Spacebar again. The other way is to click on settings and then "Toggle Timer". The time will then show at top and will keep running - this way the timer does not pause. If you no longer want the toggle timer to show at top, you simply have to click "Toggle Timer" under settings again.
5. Scores: To the right the names of all players in the game will show and the score for each player. Each points equal the amount of pieces you have laid correct on the board. These scores do for the most part (only exception is during competitions) not matter - all that really matters is that everyone is having fun and the teamwork! ♡
6. Chat: Bottom left there is a chat. In stead of clicking on the chat itself in the left corner, you can easily click on your ENTER tab on your keyboard and that way it will open the chat for you to write. Feel free to chat during the game - whether that is for having a full-on conversation, welcoming new players or cheering people on!
7. Amount of players in one game: The highest amount of players that can participate in the same puzzle game is 10. Feel free to make multiple games (and forums) if one game is full!
9. Strategy: A nice tip is to sort the pieces on top, to the left, to the right or in the bottom. You can also put together pieces outside of the frame of the puzzle, to keep it tidy inside the puzzle. (Credit: veerrass)
