It was mentioned a little over a week ago that more features were coming to the Designer tool. Let's do a little walkthrough of what the fun new features are!

As usual please be patient with new updates as it’s possible they might still need some fine tuning. If you are having any issues please report it. 

We also still have more features and updates we plan to add to the Designer tool so there is still more to look forward to as we expand and improve the tool.

Small general updates 

Edit item order

You can now edit the order your items are displayed in on the design preview. You can also exclude or change what colour version of the items are displayed.

Change design name and description

Now you can edit your design’s name and description after the design has been released. However, be mindful that you can only do this once so make sure that you change it to something you want to stick with.

Designs for event use

A few days ago you saw the first of the new updates where we added an option to submit design for gsm to use for events. You can read more about that in this newspost.

Design overview page

Each user now has their own design page where you can see an overview of all designs that they have released. It will display the name and description as well as the release date. You can find it listed under the users collections on a page called designs/my designs.

goTokens

goTokens is a currency that you can use to access some of our newer non essential features. You can purchase goToken directly on this page and occasionally they will be included in goPacks as well. If you end up with goTokens but do not want to use them for any of our new goToken Designer features they can be swapped in for gM, diamonds or VIP days.

Re-releasing designs

Have some old designs that could have earned a bit more before reaching the earrings cap or perhaps you are now a higher tier and have a higher cap you can reach? Now you can re-release old designs and bring them back to the community shop for another 2 weeks and potentially earn the remainder of your cap. The price will vary based on how long ago it was since the design was first released. If it was first released more recently the price will be lower than for something that was first released a long time ago. There is no limit to how many times you can re-release a design.

Feature design in the shop

You can now feature your design in the shop. Your design preview will be displayed at the top of the shop pages just like the other shop mannequins. Your design will be part of the Community Shop mannequin rotation until the day it leaves the shop. 

Fastlane queue

You can choose to fast track the design queue. If you are in a hurry to release something you can choose to jump into the fastlane. The fastlane designs will be taken care of first in the order they were put in the fastlane. Meaning that the person who fastlane the earliest would be first in the queue. The feedback and review will be the same as usual so be certain that your design is fully ready to avoid rejection. If you edit your design before it has been approved or rejected it will still remain in the fastlane only once you get reviewed will it be taken out. If you resubmit after your design has already been rejected or approved you no longer be in the fastlane. Keep in mind that reviewing even for the fastlane does generally not take palce during the weekend or uncomfortable working hours.
