Hello goSupermodels,

 

Sunday the 26th was goSupermodel’s 19th anniversary. When did you first start playing goSupermodel? Happy 19 years!

 
Last week

  • Décor went live on the 22nd of January and we want to thank everyone for a successful launch. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, feedback, and ideas. 

  • We announced an open moderator search on the 21st of January. You can read more about it here.

  • There was a space-themed shop update by JDs: ano, Nightwing, Kino, Terzo, theAmanda, and gDs: SvettigKaktus, and lisu. The last day to shop the items is 30.1.

 
This week

  • A new shop update celebrating the Lunar New Year made by JD Hastings and gD: Mikah and Martine. The last day to get the items is 13.2.

  • You can get the new Décor goPack that consists of 22 items. You can see all the different colors in June’s goBlog. You can get the goCode for 12.95 for 48 hours. After 48 hours the price will go to 16.95 for 12 days.

  • We have started the interviews for all the IG candidates this week.

 

Developer décor updates

  • Avatar placement behind furniture should now work properly.

  • Changed the way avatars are selected, for better control and a smaller chance of getting stuck behind others

  • Chat bubbles are no longer cut off at the top of the room

  • Selected items can now be moved with the arrow keys

  • Smaller "darken" effect on the left wall.

  • Fix for dialogue that insists that you need to buy an item you already own.

We are still fixing issues and improving the feature, as well as working on the following planned updates:

  • Return of transformation items

  • Return of the wall-editor feature

  • Return of wishlist-functionality

  • Addition of Décor items to the general trade feature.

As you have probably noticed by now, décor items can't be stretched and rotated as well, it's a limitation of the system. When producing the items we choose the characteristic we believe to be the most important for each item.

 

Décor Moodboard competition

Winners of the Décor competition will be found and announced this week. We're planning to bring the winning items to the Décor shop in February.

 

Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year starts tomorrow, if you want to be prepared, you can already go to your settings and update your goSupermodel vibe with the Lunar New Year personalization elements for 0 gM: Topbar, background, and avatar background.
