Isolation types

 


Physical isolation
Occurs when someone is physically separated from others, either by georaphical distance or by being in a place where there are few or no other people. 

Social isolation

Refers to lack of social connections or interactions with others. Even if physically surrounded by people, and individual can still experience soscial isolation if they lack meaningful relationships. 

Emotional isolation

Involves feeling emotionally disconnected from others, even if physically present. Emotional isolation can occur when someone feels unable to share their thoughts and feelings with those around them.
