Thank you for all the support in the past, we are looking forward to carrying on this concept for our dear night owls.
What is new? The concept got a rework, with a change in the hosting crew. You will from now on find some familiar faces, but also some new ones.
What to expect? We want to bring in a lot more activity for all of you, and moving forward you can expect to see more from us than you have in the past, including games and comps. We will not only host things at night, but also during daytime so the ones who’s not able to participate at night, also get the chance. During roll call, we will also start up with gifting active users during our topics. When will we give a gift? That’s a mystery!

No matter if you have been a regular for years, found us recently or maybe seeing us for the first time now - we want to hear from you. Who knows, maybe you will end up as a permanent host after a while?

Night Crew Roll call was created the 11th of april 2023 by a user named Jeca, at that point in time it was only a thread where Jeca made a list with all of the names each nights and used emojis to show how many nights a user had been present, she was in charge until the 20th of april 2023.
When Jeca no longer was able to host Roll Call a user named JessLyn took over and kept Roll Call alive for a while, she helped Roll Call survive during a couple weeks.
Delphia's era
On the 6th of may 2023 Delphia took over Roll Call from JessLyn, and she continued with having the list in a thread and putting emojis after the model names each night, but the list outgrew the character limit and Delphia decided to make a separate website to showcase the points. With the help of her husband, Travish, she created nightcrew.app and customized it so it would look good. With that Delphia assigned different emojis to different points and the list continued to grow.
Delphia also implemented some elements that still are used in Roll Call. She started with the question of the night to keep the thread active and engage the users. She also started saying "I love XXXX" each night and mentioned a model - it could be someone who had a birthday or just someone Delphia wanted to show some extra appreciation for. That feature later became "featured model" as displayed on nightcrew.app where other users could submit models - this feature has not survived without nightcrew.app but maybe we might do something about it later. Delphia also started gifting the first model to comment every night which led to engagement being high at the start of the night. Delphia was in charge of roll call until the 14th of June 2024 when she quit the site.
In the beginning of roll call it only lasted between 02:00 and 05:00, but when engagement became less during fall the time was changed to 01:30 - 05.00 so more users would be able to participate and get their roll call points.
Roll Call 2.0
After Delphias time Tyskie and snigel took over and started Roll Call 2.0, and changes had to be made. They started counting points the 18th of june so there's a tiny gap between the last of Delphias roll calls and the beginning of Roll Call 2.0 due to goSupermodel being down for one weekend. Delphia has been able to update the points automatically using her website but due to changes on goSupermodel that system did not work anymore, and hadn't worked for a few months. Tyskie and snigel had to figure out a new way to count the points which led to them resetting the points, and everyone started with an empty record with Roll Call 2.0, Which has led to the points being delayed. They have also counted the points from Delphias time that she wasn't able to submit to nightcrew.app, so you can see your own points from before Roll Call 2.0.
Tyskie and snigel recruited more hosts to get help and they ended up being a team of five people running Roll Call!
Together the team of five, snigel, Tyskie, Novembervind, saramou and Malign kept it going.
Most of them had designated hosting days, Malign monday, novembervind friday, sarurday and sniggysunday. Tyskie was usually all over the place, where she was needed!
From 30.01.2025 - 30.04.2025 the team got rewarded for they work with a goStar badge. They were able to host competitions and games for the userbase with exclusive rewards

After this, some of the host got less available, and the userbase saw less of some of the familiar faces. After a while, the hosting time got changed from 1:30am to 1am, and later on to midnight due to lack of night owling, going to bed earlier etc.
The activity became less in the topics, and the motivation to keep it going faded for the hosts.
At the beginning of June 2026, this team decided to go on a summer break.
During the summer, Novembervind, snigel and Tyskie decided to step down from hosting, whilst Malign and saramou wished to keep it going.
Sadly, points from the end of this era are still missing.
A lot of credit goes to snigel for this text, with the end of the 2.0 era added by Malign.
After a lot of back and forth, Malign and saramou came to the decision of building it back up, and did a rework of the concept over the summer.
A lot of changes were made, and the two of them came up with many new ideas, and a brand new point system.
With a big vision for the future, with comps, games and a lot of activities among the userbase, they got it back up and running.
Along the way, they picked up a brand new host to help them carry it on, Jookeri.

How to get points?
It’s quite simple. All you have to do is answer the question of the night, and your name will show up on the page as soon as we add it. Make sure you leave your comment between midnight and 5am.
Be aware, this system is new to us, so if you spot any mistakes - don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know. We are adding in the nightly names ourselves, so errors may occur in the beginning.
