Sooooo.... I heard you love creating worlds through words?
It doesn't matter if you're a seasoned writer or if you're just getting started, and it doesn't matter if you write novels, short stories, journal entries or poetry - everybody is welcome here!
Since writing can be a lonely process at times, I will be hosting a writing challenge starting from January 2025, to have some community and make the process a little more fun :)
The rules are pretty simple:
- 1. Set your own (daily) writing goal for the month
- 2. Commit to working on your project everyday
- 3. Keep each other up to date in the forum section
- 4. Have fun, encourage eachtoher, and enjoy the process!
In forum section, you can find a dedicated topic where you can comment if you've completed your writing goal. I will keep track of everything and add your name to the list you can find on the 'January 2025' tab. If you want to, you can share your daily progress or tell us what you worked on.
The writing goal can be anything you want, but to give you some ideas, it could be:
- - Writing 750 words a day
- - Spend 30 minutes writing
- - Write everyday before going to bed
- - Create a poem from a prompt generator every morning
- - Or spend some time everyday to work on something that helps you move your project forward which may include writing, journaling as if you're one of the characters, doing background research, creating a pinterest board to work out a setting, spend 15 minutes freewriting for new ideas etc.
Furthermore, you can use this club to talk about your projects, give eachother tips, share prompts, make playlists to use while you're writing, or discuss anything else related to writing.
All in all, no matter your goals or project, this is club is a supportive space to challenge yourself and grow as a writer. Furthermore, it is important to keep in mind that this challenge is not just about writing, but also about showing up for your creativity every day, no matter how busy life gets.
