I've seen so many people on here who deal with some sort of anxiety and decided that it seems like a good idea to make one big topic where we can share tips about how we deal with anxiety, what can help in certain situations etc. Of course, it is certain that no person is the same and what might work for one person, does not help for another, but you can still come on here to share tips or look for some (or share your story).

Anxiety is not a fun thing to have. I personally deal with panic disorder and health anxiety, this little cycle of fear has taken over my life and I finally started therapy and cannot wait to stop the doom scenarios from coming.

Some things I'd personally recommend:
-Mindfulness and meditation, really focus on calming your body down. In my case, anxiety tenses my body, sometimes even without me noticing. If I meditate, it gives my body a way to relax and my breathing to be more comforting.
-Journaling, writing about things really helps me. I write down the things I'm afraid of so its out in the world and I don't have to carry it with me.
