Afrofuturism Moodboard Competition
Afrofuturism is a creative perspective where Black culture, imagination, and technology are combined. This way of visual storytelling is about dreaming boldly and building a world where Black joy, innovation, and creativity can shine.
Even though this might be the first time you’re consciously hearing about Afrofuturism, there is a big chance you’ve seen it before in movies and shows like Black Panther, Black is King, and Iwájú.
For this competition, we want you to dive deep into the visual lens of Afrofuturism and experiment with its symbolism and aesthetic storytelling. Do this by creating a moodboard that explores futuristic landscapes or cities rooted in Black culture, incorporating fashion and architecture, expressing joy and creativity, and drawing inspiration from Afrofuturist art.
Don’t forget to highlight the sources where you got your inspiration from!

Competition Information
✦ Create a moodboard using photos, drawings... You can use digital tools like Canva or Pinterest, or you can even do it on paper. Use at least 5 pictures in the moodboard and cite the sources.
✦ Once you're done, upload a clear picture or screenshot of your work and post it in this topic. Make sure your username is included!
✦ The competition runs until February 28 23:59 CET.
✦ Every valid entry will receive an outfit created by Yuuni. The winners will receive an outfit by Martine. The amount of winners will be based on the entries.
✦ Only one entry per user. It is not allowed to use your alt account(s) to participate in this competition.
✦ Make sure that the entry is made by you.
✦ You are not allowed to use AI in this competition.
✦ goSupermodel is allowed to disqualify your entry without any notice if we feel that is needed.
