We’re introducing a new update for the forums that will be live tomorrow morning!
Forum tags will make your experience more relevant, more personalized, and much easier to filter. Many of you have asked for better control over the content you see, and this update is designed to give you exactly that.
Our goal is to create a forum that feels safer, more matching to your interests, and easier to navigate. Whether you want to avoid specific topics or see the ones you care about, this tool will give you control over what you see.

What’s Changing
We’re implementing a new system of predefined forum tags that can be added to any topic. These tags will let you:
- Filter out content you don’t want to see at all: Topics with filtered tags will be completely hidden, including from the frontpage.
- Subscribe to tags you care about: Subscribed tags will give you a notification when someone made a topic based on your subscribed tags. Note that you cannot subscribe to TW tags, only block them.
- Hide forum sections: We have also heard your request! In addition to the forum tags, the new update will allow you to hide entire forum sections. The exceptions to this are: From goSupermodel team, and Resources.
This allows the forum feed to match your interests rather than the previous general list.
When creating a topic, you can choose tags from the predefined list. It’s possible to add a tag after posting. Next to that moderators are able to add a tag. When a moderator added a tag, it can only be removed by a moderator.
New “Forum Setting” Page
The Forum Settings page will allow you to select tags you want to hide or select tags you want to subscribe to with more visibility and possible notifications. You’re able to turn the notifications of in the notification page if you don’t want to get them.
