Open search:
An Open Search is a different process than what we have done in the past, where there is no deadline to apply, and where we can hire more members at any time we identify a need for it.
Applications will be stored for a maximum of 6 months, and you can apply multiple times during the 6 month-period if you wish to make changes. If you still want to become a member once the 6 months are over, please re-apply. You do not need to alter your application to do so.
Applications:
Applications will be read by staff-members working closely with IG: The admin team and IG team leaders and supervisors. Potential candidates will be vetted based on the information available to us. After this process, we will contact potential candidates for an interview.
An application is judged based on an overall impression of whether you will be a good fit for the team. We do not judge an applicant on popularity, friends, VIP, and username (as long as it is in accordance with the rules).
Interview:
Interviews typically last between 10-20 minutes. We understand the idea of an interview can be both intimidating and scary, but we wish to reassure everyone that they are quick, friendly, and intended to be a more personal and open conversation to learn more about you!
Interviews should be inclusive, and we will accommodate the needs of a candidate to the best of our abilities. The standard is video and voice, but you can ask for a text-based interview, or vocalize other requests you may have.
Updates:
We will provide general updates on the process such as us contacting potential candidates, and share when the community can expect to see new members.
We will not provide individual feedback or updates on applications.
We are looking for passionate and proactive members.
To apply you need to send your application here: inclusivitygroup@momio.zendesk.com
An Open Search means we will store applications for a maximum of 6 months, and are able to bring on new members at any time. Once the 6 month-period is over, you would need to re-apply.
An application should include username, age, what marginalised group(s) you belong to, how you can contribute, and a statement including feedback and ideas on how gSm can improve inclusivity.
Visual guidelines: Make sure your application is accessible. Consider contrast, font, font size, and colors. If you send a picture-based application, provide the information separately through text as well.
We are deeply excited to read all of your applications, and to continue our journey towards a more inclusive future!
Make sure to stay updated on the process in THIS topic.
With love,
