Hi goSupermodels! 

In September, we posted a news post addressing racism on goSupermodel, where we shared that part of our strategy to improve the accessibility of educational material is to release a new forum section dedicated for it. We are happy to share that the forum section will be live on Wednesday 26/11/25!

What will the forum section be for?

The new section will be called Resources, and it is intended to be a place to compile educational resources, important news posts and awareness posts in one place easily available for all users to access. 

Our hope is that this content being more readily available will nurture a platform where each individual user feel more encouraged to self-educate, and to educate each other, with the help of educational content written by both staff members, moderators, the Inclusivity Group (IG), and with the invaluable help we have received from users since the relaunch of goSupermodel. 

Additionally, the section will be used for IG to provide regular updates on their work and projects. We are excited to work on making sure their behind the scenes efforts are more visible to the community! 

How will the forum section work? 

The section will work like the From goSupermodel Team-section. Only IG and staff-members will be able to create forums, but users will still be able to comment in unlocked topics. 

Moving forward...

We will continue to catalogue community needs and curate awareness content necessary to make the platform a safe space. We might not have everything ready right now, but it is something we alongside IG are actively working on.

On release, we have the following topics ready: Autistic communication, Spamming guidelines, Ableism and Microaggressions, Mod Post: Racism, Mod Post: Transphobia, Tone Indicators, Biphobia on gSm, and Lesbophobia on gSm.
