Over the past weeks, we've received a lot of feedback about activities on goSupermodel — thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!
We've taken this feedback seriously and have been exploring ways to bring more fun and awesome activities to the site. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of a brand-new smaller team for activity!
But there's more: you get to help decide what the team will be called! Head over to the homepage to vote in the poll and choose your favorite name.
The team of activity will focus on organizing forum games, competitions, and other engaging activities to make goSupermodel more lively and entertaining for everyone.
How Is this different from the Focus Group?
It’s important to clarify that this is not a reintroduction of the Focus Group.
The Focus Group previously handled Feedback, Events, and Creative initiatives, as for example website designs (exception might be promotional billboards). While we remain grateful for the contributions they made, we ultimately realized that the structure of the Focus Group no longer aligned with the vision we had for goSupermodel.
Since introducing the Feedback Inbox, we've gained valuable insights into what the community is currently missing and one thing stood out: a stronger focus on fun and engaging activities.
That’s why the new team of activity will be fully focused on hosting forum games and competitions. The team's purpose is to bring fun back to the site whether through daily or weekly forum games, or competitions that are not necessarily tied to seasonal or festive campaigns.
While the team of activity will operate independently, there will also be collaborations with other teams, f.ex. Inclusivity group and Campaign team. The overall goal is to ensure that goSupermodel remains exciting, active, and full of things to do, not just during special occasions, but all year round.
We're Hiring: Activity Supervisor
We’re opening applications for the role of Activity Supervisor!
This is a volunteer position compensated with in-game currency, VIP, and a special discount in the in-game IRL shop.
As an Activity Supervisor, you’ll collaborate alongside other staff members to develop the concept and help ensure it’s ready for the arrival of team members. You’ll also help manage the team on a daily basis. Responsibilities will include supporting team members, being a contact person, assisting with the planning of activities and games, and working closely with other goSupermodel staff to keep the community fun and active.
Being an Activity Supervisor is voluntary and should be fun. The role will be dynamic to your strengths and needs, and you will have a lot of help from other staff members also working on the project.
Requirements & Qualities
To apply for Activity Supervisor, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be able to communicate clearly in English
- Be creative with ideas for forum games and competitions
- Be motivated to improve the goSupermodel experience for everyone
We’re ideally looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about goSupermodel and making it more fun
- Good at communicating
- Good Compassionate and supportive
- A strong team player
- Full of creative energy
