AAPI Heritage Month Wrap Up

Before we knew it, May has almost come to an end, meaning it is time to say goodbye to Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPI).

We started this month with an informative news post about AAPI that you can read about here.

Shop drops

There have been two shop drops in total. Both shop drops consisted of two outfits each, making a total of four outfits.

  • The first shop drop was in collaboration between applehoax, the goSupermodel designers, and the Inclusivity Group. These outfits were inspired by Kazakh clothing, as well as the "Barong Tagalog", which is the Phillipines' national dress.

  • The second shop drop was in collaboration between Martine, the goSupermodel designers and the Inclusivity Group. These outfits were inspired by the Kuchi dress from Afghanistan, as well as by "Deel", a traditional loose calf-length tunic from Mongolia.

The four outfits will stay in the shop until the end of this month, so make sure to take a look at them before they leave the shop!

Competition

We hosted a competition where you can customise your own surfboard. The unlocked prize outfit was inspired by the traditional Salwar Suit from Pakistan.

Feel free to check it out right here!
