Hello lovelies,

We hope you’ll let us tell you a bit about who we are and what we do.

When goSupermodel relaunched, it was in the state it was in in august 2013. That means that any items that were released after that point are lost and no longer exist in the goSupermodel archive. This saddened us deeply to learn, so after a brief discussion in one of Roris Q&A topics, we decided to start The Lost Items Recovery Project.

We gather all the images we can find, on blogs or social media pages, or kindly sent to us by all of you. The images come in many forms, for instance we have gathered a whopping 584 old looks and 407 old wardrobe screenshots! Those can be used to isolate and reconstruct items so they can return to the game. The wardrobe ones are especially helpful with helping us label the item with the correct designer so they can receive their rightful credit.

Putting all the items into our spreadsheet also gives us some interesting information; for instance there’s more dogs than cats. And it’s quite evident what was popular at the time - let’s just say there’s a lot of ice queen looks and designs  Keeping feet warm was also somewhat a priority, with 29 (and a half) pairs of socks.

Despite all we have gathered there’s still tons more out there that we are trying to find, and we would love your continued help. Therefore, if you happen to have any old screenshots, saved looks or even items, or know of an old blog or social media account where we could possibly find something, we’d love to hear from you! Anything is helpful. You can always send a dm to either Lilac or Wonderstruck with a link or what information you have.

You might also want to head on over to our club’s public forum section during december. Over there we are hosting an advent calendar in the form of a daily raffle, where you’ll have the chance to win a beautiful lost dress

Lastly, we would like to take a moment to share our appreciation for goSuperTools as well. If an item can be found on there, it is already existing in the goSupermodel archive, and we won’t have to file or isolate it. The gSt team and site has been so incredibly helpful and supportive of us, and we are eternally grateful for them!

In conclusion; this is and always has been a passion project. We really enjoy what we do - even when we spend 12 hours fixing a silly little toad bag.
