While this time of year may not bring the same excitement for everyone, we hope these small moments of warmth, kindness, and connection remind us all of the magic in the little things. Let’s make most of this season - together!

Dearest reader,

 

I was looking forward to a break from the lab this season. In a frequent stroke of genius, I decided to escape the confines of my research and arranged for a charming little home swap. A cozy little cottage in the countryside. What could possibly go wrong?

 

Everything, apparently.

Through no fault of my own, obviously, I now find myself in Santa’s house. Yes, that Santa. 

 

The house is… festive. Overly so. Candy canes are everywhere. And lurking in the shadows is a mysterious fellow who refuses to answer my questions. I can’t quite determine what he looks like, but it is not Santa. And he is far too quiet for my liking, although, he might just be intimidated by my unparalleled intellect.

Rest assured, I’ll keep you updated as I figure out my next steps for this peculiar predicament.
