June is here, and that means it's time for Pride Month. It serves as a reminder that the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights is still an ongoing process, and a moment to embrace and honor the LGTBQIA+ community. It’s a month to celebrate gSm’s diverse community with fun activities, shop drops, goCodes and competitions, while acknowledging the people that fought for LGBTQIA+ rights, the progress that has been made, and recognizing the challenges LGBTQIA+ people still face today. 

With the violence and harassment against LGBTQIA+ people in Europe having reached  new heights, it’s more than ever to stand in solidarity and support. Our Inclusivity Group has worked on new resources to help address these challenges and foster a safer, more inclusive community for all users part of the LGTBQIA+ community. These resources can be found in the Pride Club here.

Let’s kick off with…

• We've introduced a total of 15 additional pride flags in the shop that will now be permanently available. 

• We are introducing all available flags as small wearable badge versions this weekend as well, providing an alternative way to incorporate your pride into your outfit(s).

• Feeling extra creative? Show your design skills in our Pride Guest Designer competition, in which you have to design a look inspired by one of the Pride Flags and get it featured in the shop during the final week of Pride Month. 

• And a thank you to the amazing Chizumi, for making an amazing pride topbar and matching background for Pride. 

Coming in the upcoming week (among other things!):

• The Junior Designers, goDesigners as well as our illustrator are working on Pride-themed shop collections. The first drop arrives on Wednesday, so get ready! 

• Let's honor drag's importance with helpful resources and informative posts from the Inclusivity Group, along with a drag-themed Icon Hunt and the weekly DragUp competition, all happening during Pride Month, starting this Tuesday.

• An informative weekly series by the Inclusivity Group, Pride Advocates, in which we will feature people that dedicated or still dedicate their lives to fight for the rights and equality of the LGBTQIA+ community worldwide.

Join the Pride Club

All activities for this month will take place within the Pride Club, and there's a surprise awaiting all club members that join before Friday, June 7th, 23:59 CET.
