In Solidarity With Ukraine

It has been two years, three months and two days since Russia invaded Ukraine. More specifically, people in Ukraine have lived in constant fear for 822 days. In an era where the media more or less controls what we see, we want to remind everyone that the war is still ongoing and millions of people are suffering because of it.

Where does the war currently stand?

  • Russia has bombarded towns and villages in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region, following a recent surprise ground offensive across the border that has led to the evacuation of thousands.

  • Russia intensified its attack in the region, with a focus on the town of Vovchansk, which had been freed from Russian control over 18 months ago. If Russia secures positions in Vovchanks and Lyptsi, it will have a solid platform for attacks on the city of Kharkiv, which was once a major industrial hub and home to almost 1.5 million people. The Ukrainian military confirmed that Russian troops are making gains along its northeastern border, but haven’t confirmed the recapture.

  • Evacuations are currently underway in the town of Vovchansk.

  • At least seven civilians have been killed, and over two dozen injured in the Kharkiv region since the recently intensified attacks, according to the United Nations.

How to support Ukraine

To support Ukraine, you can:

  • Donate to organizations, for example the Red Cross and UNICEF.
  • Start volunteering in charitable organizations providing aids for Ukraine or participate in their activities.
  • Educate yourself about the situation and stay informed.
  • Share information on social media platforms.
  • Support businesses that contribute funds to Ukraine.

Let us not forget the ongoing hardships the people of Ukraine are facing. We want to give you all the ability to show your support by waving the Ukrainian flag, using the goCode ‘In solidarity with Ukraine’. We acknowledge the lateness of the flag and we realize the importance it carries. With the flag, we hope everyone will remember and continue to stand in solidarity with Ukraine.

This goCode will not expire.
