We just wanted to remind everyone to keep a friendly tone on goSupermodel. Making hateful comments or statements towards ordinary users on goSupermodel users, moderators or staff is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

goSupermodel is a place where everyone should feel safe. We are here to provide a friendly environment for everyone who wants to be here, and two groups that have been heavily targeted are our transgender- and our people of color users. We do not allow any racism or transphobia on goSupermodel and we are currently looking into adding “No transphobia” to the rules. It is important to you, and it is important to us to make that mark against transphobia.

We also want to remind you that it is important to report any bad content on goSupermodel. If you see someone bullying or bad mouthing others you should always report them so we can look into the case as quickly as possible. 

It is important to us that you understand that we never delete a model without a reason. We use timeouts as a security measurement. One might be put in timeout before being deleted to be prevented from writing on goSupermodel. 

Another thing that we need to address is the hate that our staff members have been receiving these past weeks. We have been tolerative of and happy to receive feedback, constructive criticism and inputs from you, but on the side of this our moderators and staff members have received hateful messages and comments that now have exceeded levels of what is normal. We can look past a lot, but since this is our workplace we also need to make sure that our employees have a healthy working environment. From here on, topics where users are making hateful comments or passive aggressive comments about staff or our moderators will be deleted at the same level as we delete other forums about bullying, calling out or bad mouthing other users.
