We have some exciting and not so exciting news for you this week, so keep reading! We hope everyone has had a great weekend.

 
Last Week's Happenings

  • Last Saturday marked two years since Russia invaded Ukraine. Read more about it here

  • We updated our site security.

  • We shared a newspost about Carnival around the world.

  • A Black History Month shop update dropped, made by the amazing Maze and TheAmanda. Keep an eye out for another BHM shop update! Both have been done in collaboration with IG.

 
What’s on this week?

  • We are working on adding and improving our existing security systems this week. This continues to be our highest priority.

  • We are working on gathering feedback and user input to update the Sketzmo words.

  • It’s time for this week’s Look of the Week from the SMA’s Fashionista Attic. This week’s theme highlights Black History Month, and will be guest-judged by the IG! Check it out here.

 

Inclusivity Group Team Captain Update

Aeneid will be stepping down as the Inclusivity Group team captain due to personal circumstances changing. She has returned to be a moderator and will stay on the IG team as a member. She will also stay on as their Team Captain until a new one is in place and will be heavily involved in the recruitment process together with the IG themselves.

 

Aeneid has been invaluable to staff and we can not thank her enough for everything she has done for us. We are so happy she’s still sticking around as a volunteer.

 

We are dedicated to finding a Team Captain who represents the IG team and can bring much needed and fresh ideas to the staff team. Please find the job advert here.

 

Admin Update

Prismatic has stepped down from her admin position for personal reasons. She has created a topic to say goodbye, please join in to thank her for all she has done. She will be missed very deerly.

 

Returning JDs

We also have some very good and exciting news to share! The following JDs will be returning to the team, and we are so happy and grateful for them. Please welcome back:
