As shared in The New Admins announcement a few days ago we were still looking for additional admins to the team. Today we are happy to introduce Luce as our new Admin and leader of the Inclusivity Group.

About Luce;

Hello! My name is Luce, and I will be joining as the new Leader of the Inclusivity group, and as a new Community Admin. My name might be familiar to you as my personal account went by the same username. I am a 20 year old trans-masc disabled person of chilean heritage, who goes by the pronouns he/him. I have previously spent a lot of my time on the site engaging in educational topics regarding race, gender, queerness and disability.

As the new Leader of the Inclusivity group, working on inclusivity of marginalized groups will be my highest priority. As a marginalized person myself, I have personal understanding of how isolating and frustrating it can be to navigate spaces as a minority. I hope to be able to use my experiences to ensure better protection of marginalized people on goSupermodel, and that bigotry is not overlooked, and is instead met with appropriate consequences. 

My vision for the Inclusivity Group is to have it first and foremost be a safe space from bigotry, including tone-policing and other micro-aggressions. I want to ensure a space where honest and genuine feedback is welcomed, and where we can work in collaboration to have every person and minority group be heard both within the Inclusivity Group, and goSupermodel as a whole. 

I played on the old Norwegian goSupermodel server as a child, and got to experience firsthand how much potential there is in safe exploration of gender expression and in finding community. I’ve carried these positive experiences as I've gotten older, and it was one of the primary reasons I was ecstatic to hear about the site’s return. My wish is to be able to contribute in allowing other people to share that comfort I did, and to have goSupermodel be a site for everyone to find a place of belonging.
