Showtime, goKat and Rori hurried to the airport as soon as Rori got her new suitcase. After some debate, they were pretty sure the riddle was hinting to Poseidon, which was leading them to Athens, Greece next.
The trio arrived safely to their next destination early in the morning and left their luggages quickly at the hotel lobby as they wanted to continue their search for the gem. They had briefly discussed whether the riddle was leading them to the beach or to Poseidon’s temple, but Showtime confidently led the group in the direction of Poseidon’s temple straight away. They could think of nothing but the next gemstone they were confident that they’d find it there.
Upon arrival, they were immediately stopped by fences around the area. “Is this really the right place?” goKat asked carefully and looked at the blocked road in disbelief. There was no way to enter the temple. “The next gemstone must be there, but how do we get in?” Showtime wondered out loud and was re-reading the riddle with goKat to check if they were missing something. Rori interrupted them and pointed out a poster hanging nearby explaining that the temple was closed due to the Gods of Greek party happening later in the evening.
“Looks like we are going to the party tonight!” Rori exclaimed enthusiastically, and they immediately agreed to split up. Rori promised to find gorgeous Greek God-inspired looks, while Showtime tries to get the tickets to the party and goKat headed back to the hotel to complete their check-in.
At the hotel, goKat got a weird feeling while entering the room as someone was watching her but she brushed the thought away quickly and carried their bags one by one to the room. As she finally had time to sit down on the bed and glance at the room, she noticed a strange seashell on the pillow. She carefully lifted it and a note slipped out:
It read as a threat, but goKat did not feel confident about how to interpret the message. Was the gemstone hunt growing a little too serious? Or was someone playing a trick on them? And who were whispering? She picked up her phone to video call the others, but only Showtime answered. “Hi, I got the tickets! I’m right around the corner!” He said as he was making his way back to the hotel. goKat didn’t hesitate with reading him the note, and once she looked up at the screen again she could see the same dark presence from Copenhagen lurking in the shadows behind Showtime. “Just hurry up and get here,” she nervously added, to which Showtime just encouraged her to stay calm.
