Some of you guys might know me as Dey on here, and starting today I'll be joining goSupermodel's content team. This means I'll be working closely with Symmetry, Showtime, Rori, and goKat, as well as supporting our wonderful Focus Group in more ways than before to plan and execute fun events for you all. 

I wanted to share a little about myself and my journey with goSupermodel. My name is Dey, and I've been an active member of this community since 2008. When I first heard of the site shutting down, it felt like I was losing a big part of my life. 

As a young gay boy who struggled to express himself, I found comfort in goSupermodel and its community. When the site came back, I was thrilled to be a part of it again. I've been engaged in sharing my ideas, concepts, and designs in hopes of helping the site thrive once again. 

As a member of the Focus Group, I've worked hard to plan and execute events and create on-site graphics. I'm excited to continue doing so in my new role and to work even more closely with all of you. I genuinely care about this community and want the best for it. I hope to represent all of you and your wishes well going forward. Thank you for your continued support and for making goSupermodel an amazing place to be!!! 

I want to give you all a little background on how this all came to be. Recently, Rikke reached out to me after seeing my entry for the goMarketeer competition. We had a meeting a few days later to discuss potential ways we could collaborate and from there, we decided on a plan that we were both super excited about!!

I decided to go the route of telling you all who I am for the sake of transparency. I'm aware that this will take some time to get used to, but I hope we can still laugh and have fun together as we have before.
