As AANHPI Heritage Month comes to a close, this final week is centered around reflection, community and shared experiences.

Throughout the month, we explored themes connected to history, invisibility, stereotypes, language, food and representation. These conversations highlighted just how diverse and layered AANHPI communities and experiences are, while also reminding us how important it is to continue listening, learning and uplifting different voices.

At the same time, no news post, competition or campaign could ever fully capture every experience, perspective or story. There is no single AANHPI narrative. Understanding different communities requires listening, learning and reflecting beyond just one month.

Awareness also shouldn’t stop once May ends. Reflection is an important part of building understanding and community, especially when it comes to recognizing perspectives and experiences that are often overlooked or misunderstood. Even small moments of learning, listening or reconsidering assumptions can have a meaningful impact.

This final week is therefore centered around reflection, collective voices and the power of community.

To close out AANHPI Heritage Month, we wanted to create something together as a community.
