One year ago on this day we released the Designer tool, where all users got the ability to upload their very own designs! It's been a really exciting journey exploring this new feature along with the designers of goSupermodel. Make sure to take this opportunity to send some love to all our designers who have shared their creativity with gSm, whether they have just started or are design veterans.
Let's take a look at what this last year has brought us!
During this first year we have had:
- 2,480+ released designs in the community shop.
- 19,460+ released unique items (not including recolours)
- 104,700+ released items (including colour variants). That is about 5 recolours per item.
- As of 13:07 CEST 29/04/2026, we have had users click "create design" 9,996 times. Wonder who will be number 10,000. What an incredible coincidence that we happened to reach 10,000 created designs on the date of the anniversary!

We are looking forward to seeing what the Designer tool brings us the second year. We have had a fair share of updates to the tool since the launch, and we will be continuing to update and bring you more improvements. Just today we added more quality-of-life improvements to the tool, and we have more that is being worked on.
Included in today's update:
- Only adjusting the item price does not push your design back to the creative stage and will not need re-approval.
- If your design is on hold, it will be reflected in the design's status.
