Otaku is a Japanese term for a so-called "super nerd".

In this club's context, otaku is a catch-all term for people

interested in Japanese stuff!

What counts as Japanese stuff?

Anime, manga, video games, music etc.! In this club otaku stuff

also includes Japanese traditional culture, Japanese language etc.

Anything Japan related and stuff similar to it!

Does it have to be Japanese?

Not necessarily. Talking about, for example, Chinese manhua comics

or Korean K-pop is also accepted.
