gSmAwards general questions 

How many categories does gSmAwards 2026 have?

This year gSmAwards counts 14 categories and these categories are: Best dressed, Best moderator, Best goHost, Best goDesigner, Best Inclusivity group member, Best goStar, Best goSupermodel staff member, Positive impact award, Model of the year, Best newcomer, Most generous model, Best joker / Most funny model, Most creative model (non-employee) and Best initiator.

Is this a event organized by the goSupermodel staff or team?

No it is not, we want to make very clear that we organize this out of own initiative. No official goSupermodel staff of teammembers are involved. 

Who is behind the gSmAwards account?
This is a very important question as well and because we find transparency important we want to tell you that the account is runned by 'Dutch Blossom. So when you are communicating with gSmAwards, you are communicating with the same person that's behind the 'Dutch Blossom. account.

Voting

How do I cast my vote?

To vote you must sent your votes trough a goMessage to the gSmAwards account. You are only allowed to vote once per voting period. Only complete votes will count, that means you will have to nominate someone within each category. To be able to vote, your account must be at least active for six months. This way we hope to prevent false votes by alt-accounts. If we have the suspicion that the votes are coming from a alt-account, we will not include the votes in the calculations of the results. 

Am I allowed to nominate the same model in each category?

Yes you are, however we encourage you to think well about how you are going to cast your vote as you can only vote once per voting period. We also encourage you to think about someone you really think would deserve winning in one or another category. 

When does the voting start?

This year gSmAwards contains three rounds of voting. The first voting period opens on the 1st of December and closes on the 10th of December 23:59. The day after, on the 11th of December the top 10 will be announced of each category trough a public forum topic within this club. From the 12th of December a new voting period opens. You then will be able to cast your votes on any model within the top 10 of each category. This period runs untill the 21st of December 23:59. The day after, on the 22nd of December the top 3 of each category will be announced. This also hapens trough a public forum topic within in the club. The last voting period opens on the 23rd of December and lasts untill the 30th of December 23:59. You will only be able to cast your votes on any model within the top 3 of all the categories. On the 31st of December we will announce the winners of each category. Only one model can win within each category. 

What happens when models have received the same amount of votes on the end of the voting period?

With three rounds of voting, it is possible for multiple candidates to receive the same number of votes. If that is the case, the top 10 or 3 will be formed out of candidates having the same amount of votes. If it happens at the very end, the prize will be shared between the top 2/3. 

Donations

I would like to donate for the prize pool, how can I donate?

First of all, thank you that you are willing to donate. To donate, leave a message here on this topic and we will reach out to you. As we find transparency important, we leave our details page of the gSmAwards model open so you can see what has been collected. On the gSmAwards l Donations overview page you will find every donation with a mention of the model who donated. You can donate untill the 31st of November 12:00. 

I want to donate, can I donate anonymously?

Yes, if you wish so we can put your donation on the gSmAwards l Donations overview page without mentioning your modelname. Instead of your modelname, 'anonymousely donation' will be written down. 

Prize pool

What are the prizes we can win?

We rely entirely on donations. Donations can be made until 12:00 PM on November 31st. The gSmAwards officially kick off on December 1st, that is also when we will announce what the prize pool will look like and how this is distributed between all the 14 categories. Most likely all prizes will be equally shared. The prize pool can grow every day until the 31st of November. Want to check what the status of the prize pool is?
