THE KINGDOM OF NAVARRE

The game is set in a fictional continent that is divided into three locations: Navarre, Poromiel and The Barrens. In this game, most (if not all) scenes take place in Basgiath War College (BWC), which is located in Navarre. In BWC, the citizens of the kingdom can study to become scribes, healers, infantry, or most notably dragon riders

The kingdom of Navarre is geographically diverse, boasting mountainous regions rich in ore and timber, and is renowned for its abundance of wildlife like deer and elk.

The kingdom has been in a never-ending war to secure its borders from power-hungry enemies and the constant threat of conflict. The kingdom has also fought against separatist and different kind of threats to its sovereignty.

THE GOVERNMENT

Aside from the deserted Barrens, the kingdom is separated into two countries: Navarre and Poromiel. Navarre has dragon riders who can channel the magic of their dragons through signets, whereas Poromiel has gryphon riders who can similarly channel gryphons' magic. Both countries have their own governments: Specifically, Navarre has a king but also generals, colonels, and other such figureheads who aid the government in upkeeping the country's safety.
Navarre and Poromiel have a tenuous trade agreement. Importantly, Poromiel does the mining that produces gem stones, which are used to amplify dragon (and gryphon) magic. The combination of these gem stones with dragon magic is used by the Navarre government to upkeep a ward around Navarre, which expels non-dragon magic. So, within the borders of Navarre, people are safe from Poromiel and their gryphon magic. (It is not stated whether Poromiel has similar wards or if the gryphons are capable of making those wards.)

THE GODS

In terms of religion, four major gods are worshipped in the kingdom. These are Malek (the god of death), Zihnal (the god of luck), Amari (the queen of the gods), and Dunne (the goddess of strength and war). Though the presence of these gods doesn't generally play a central role in this roleplay, it is notable that according to Malek's judgement, keeping deceased loved ones' belongings is a grave offence to the gods: All personal possessions of the dead shall be burned - or Malek shall burn those who break this law.

✦THE TYRRISH REBELLION

Prior to the unification of the kingdom of Navarre approx. 630 years past, Tyrrendor (located on the South-Western boarder of the kingdom) was its own country. As the largest province of Navarre, it was the last one to join the alliance and swear fealty to the King.

As time passed, the Tyrrish grew restless under the King's reign, and so the rebellion caught wind 627 years after the unification. The rebellion peaked during the bloody and savage Batter of Aretia, which led to the Tyrrish's defeat. As punishment for their actions, the Tyrrish Rebellion's leaders were executed and their children forced to watch as their parents' lives were taken. The final nail on the Tyrrish's coffin was the burning of Aretia by dragon fire.

Henceforth, the children of the rebellion would be marked on one arm with a rebellion relic and forced to enlist into the rider-quadrant in BWC as punishment for the actions of their bloodlines - or die refusing.
