Cleansing your crystals

It is recommended to cleanse your crystal before using it. Why? Think of everyone who have touched the crystal before you, or been near it. They have left an energy print within your crystal. Cleansing it means that it can start over and focus on YOU.

There are many ways to cleanse a crystal. You can use...
... sage
... Palo Santo
... salt (place the crystal in a bowl with salt)
... water (place the crystal under running, cold water for 10 minutes)
... sunlight (place in the sunlight)
... moonlight (place in the moonlight)
... soil (place in eg. your flower pot or in the grass outside)
... singing bowl (eg. place your crystal near the bowl, or put the bowl on top of the crystal)
... other crystals (selenite, rock/clear quartz, carnelian)

 Important!!
Not all crystals can handle water.
Examples: selenite, lapis lazuli, malakite and turquoise.

Not all crystals can handle salt.
Examples: pyrite, lapis lazuli, opal and hematite.

Not all crystals can handle sunlight.
Examples: amethyst, rose quartz, celestite, fluorite, kunzite, aventurine, tourmaline, lapis lazuli, malakite and turquoise.
