 | hello. i have been a huge sims 2 fan all my life and have been playing it since i was like 7 or something.
and now i have decided that i'm gonna complete a 10 generation legacy challenge! i have never been successful before, but now is the time. i'm gonna document my playthrough in this forum, mainly for motivation and to see my progress. feel free to comment. i'm gonna start with an adult sim and build my own house (i hate building so its not gonna be fun). after that i'm gonna roll a dice to see how many kids each sim will have, what ambition they will have etc. and i'm gonna play mostly want-based. so if my sim wants 10 children and my dice said only 3, then i'm gonna try and have 10 children because the wants is worth more than the dice. okay let's go! | I tried to build my own house, but for some reason it got all messed up. The walls were connecting in a weird way, I couldn’t place a door etc. I do not have the patience for that. So I went to modthesims and downloaded a beautiful big house.
And so I created my first sim. Her name is Esther Black, and this is her: https://i.imgur.com/XdQJ4K5.jpg And this is her in front of her house: https://i.imgur.com/nyMa1F1.jpg Also the pics are really bad quality, but this is just for fun so I don’t think it matters that much. And they are taken with my phone because I couldn’t get it to work on the computer. It started off quite normal. Met some neighbors and all that. And I rolled a dice deciding that she is gonna have three kids, so I needed to start acting fast if I was gonna make it before she turns to an elder. She got a blind date, and it went horribly. Her date didn’t like her choices of topics while talking to each other. And it just escalated and they were mean to each other. Oh well, shit happens. Her life long dream is to become a criminal. After some days it turned up on the computer and she has gotten a promotion already! This random guy called her on the phone the first day, and they talked and got along quite well. He continued calling, and I thought why not make them go on a date. So off to their first date they went. They went out dining and both ordered hummer thermidor, so they share a taste in food! Long story short, their date was extremely successful and they shared their first kiss together. A day or so later she asked him to move in with her. None of them showed signs of wanting to get engaged or married so I’m not gonna force it. But I think it’s quite fitting that they are living together as a couple. | I don’t really follow any rules. I just play want-based, roll a dice when it comes to certain decisions like how many children etc. I don’t collect points or anything either. I don’t use cheats (besides from getting money so I could buy the house). I mainly let the sims do whatever they wanna do

Interesting, I'll see if I can come up with something like that  I've never done a succesful challenge because I always end up cheating  |

I have never done a successful challenge either but it’s because I end up bored and I uninstall the games but this time I must succeed |

it is like the chaos of a challenge messes it up for me. However, it just seems like so much fun |

It still very frustrating when they are hungry and won’t go and eat, or they just turn on the damn stereo all the time, but I want my game to be more realistic

| Week 2 in sims
This week started off with a baby shower. It was successful and around 5 people came to celebrate Esther and her upcoming baby. The baby was later born and it’s a baby girl named Teresa Black! https://i.imgur.com/8TFByJY.jpg Teresa eventually turned into a toddler but none of the parents showed interest in teaching her how to talk, walk or potty train. So she still hasn’t learned any of those skills unfortunately. https://i.imgur.com/M5J4VoN.jpg Esther was promoted to level 3 Bookie thanks to a chance card. Her boyfriend, Costas, got demoted at his job to level 6 Projectionist in the Slacker Career. This was because he lost a thumb war to one of his colleagues lmao. Back at it again with another pregnancy! We got no time to lose. But Esther did not have a baby shower this time since she was busy with work. https://i.imgur.com/uYa3JwT.jpg Costas fortunately got promoted back to level 7 Video Editor. Baby is born and it turned out to be twins! So Esther is officially done with being pregnant and she can enjoy her 15 remaining days of adulthood without a pregnant belly.
