Because fat isn't a bad word on itself. It's only when used in a negative context.
I for one would like to reclaim the word as a fat person. I use it to describe myself in a neutral way.
I actually think skinny are a worse word to use for a body type than fat.
Stunning, beautiful bride. That dress looks amazing on you.

As a fat person, I would also like to know the reason behind this. There was a similar case before, but in that case the word used was "fatty", which the mods explained to have a different meaning related to drugs. This time, however, there is no such connection, so I would like to know why staff bans this name but not the skinny alternative (which many have, in fact, found triggering).

no i havent been there in a while ngl so i just went to check it out. either way fat isn't a bad word and it shouldn't make gSm delete an acc for it

whether u like it or not, fat has a more negative connotation than skinny

(not saying i agree with it tho <33)
even 'skinnygurls' is allowed?!
Feels kinda like weight discrimination

the whole era of calling people skinny legends in a positive way felt very gross in general

It just indicates that being skinny is good while being fat is bad. I don't mind someone having the username skinny legend if fat legend is allowed too. That's the only issue to me.

indeed

Yes, I remember from the previous case that there have been multiple reports, which makes this case even more weird to me; one that triggers users can remain, but one that has more negative connotation due to fatphobia cannot despite fat people having voiced it multiple times that they want to be able to call themselves fat to neutralize those negative connotations.
shouldn't be a difference in allowing/not allowing skinny/fat legend

def. if one is allowed the other should too or else neither should be.
Wait wasn't it okay?
Feel like I have seen a forum similar to this but don't remember the name of the model. Just remember that staff played it off as the name meant something that could be related/a slang for drugs...
Which is the weakest excuse ever...
