i know !! my point is, everyone is obsessed with calling hamas terrorist, and asking the question if you condemn hamas do you condemn hamas hamas hamas hamas. meanwhile the major death count is on the other side. i don't think it's fair to condemn hamas and let israel walk free of judgment.
condemning hamas does not mean you cant also condemn israel's government or equal letting israel walk free of judgement

Oh God no with the incoming "but Palestinians have the right to armed struggle" YES they do, but Hamas does not represent the Palestinian liberation they are legit an islamist terror organisation who's goal is to establish a caliphate. Their goal is to eradicate jews and Israel from the map. October 7th was an operation to do just that, which mean it was also an act of genocide. Hamas has outright said that it's not their job to take of the civilians in Gaza and that they will repeat attacks like October 7th until Israel and Jews are completely gone.
i condemn chocolate hummus

my point was literally to condemn BOTH.
I condemn anyone and anything that murders civilians.

well thats good! that point was not clear in your original post before you edited it tho, thats why it was confusing and seemed like you were suggesting that hamas should not be condemned
omfg some of the comments here are insane.
Acting like the hamas did "just fight back"...what the hell is going on with you?
Hamas is the worst enemy for the people of palestine and israel
I have edited a TW to the topic name.

People trying to justify the killing of civilians, especially children and elderly people, under the guise of "the right to armed struggle" I think would sing a completely different tune if it was their family that got killed for the cause. All kinds of justifications for the killing of civilians on the basis of their ethnicity or statehood always is a rhetoric that leads way for the type of rhetoric that in the end justifies genocide.
The question and condemnation of Hamas is important to the future of Palestine, as it's unlikely to serve as a stable democratic government if there will ever be a 2 state or 1 state solution
pls y'all you don't have to go to bat for fucking hamas. it's like justifying isis atp

i apologise, i'm frustrated and infuriated and came across wrong. of course i don't support violence, i don't want anyone to get hurt or killed. i don't think it's how anything should be solved, but the continuious violence subjected onto palestinians, the segregation, lack of human rights and freedom - i wish they *could* fight back, you know ? obviously hamas is not a solution.

it's literally "from the river to the sea - palestine will be free".
